As part of the Seahawks Inspire Change: Global Impact program, Beyond Sport is inviting you to complete this application form for a grant partnership of up to $50,000 (USD), starting in October 2026 and running through September 2027. We encourage you to apply for the relevant funding amount to cover your proposed project delivery for 10 months, which may be less than $50,000 USD, depending on the size of your organization.
Application open to organizations working with 14-20 year-olds in Australia, Canada and the DACH region. Priority markets include Sydney, Australia, Vancouver, Canada, Dusseldorf, Germany and Vienna, Austria.
This grant will support you to build on your existing sport programming and begin to use flag football (non-contact 5v5 American Football) as a tool to further engage young people. The support from this program will allow chosen organizations to harness the uniqueness of the sport to bring their participants together in a positive and supportive environment, strengthen their communities and improve the physical and mental health of young people facing inequality.
Funded projects must combine flag football with wraparound support to deepen the impact of the initiative. This support should include mentorship and career readiness programs, tailored to the needs of your community.
In addition to the funding, the Seahawks and NFL will support any needs around the delivery of flag football as part of this program.
