Rexona (also known as Sure, Degree or Shield depending on where you are in the world) believes in the power of movement to transform lives, but recognises not everyone is free to move however they want.
Through the Breaking Limits Programme, Rexona is on a mission to equip young people with the confidence and opportunity to move. The programme offers funding to support partner NGOs to enhance existing initiatives or create new projects give young people access to positive role models, community and a safe space to move, alongside the Breaking Limits Training Series, an online resource that equips coaches, community leaders and volunteers to equip young people with the confidence and skills to overcome barriers to movement.
In 2025, potential partners are invited to apply for funding for programmes or initiatives that support young people aged 12-24 to develop the confidence and opportunity to move more. There will be a particular focus on initiatives that support the inclusion of under-represented groups of young people, for example those who are historically excluded on the basis of gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, ability, access to facilities or economic status.
The following application will require you to submit information detailing:
- Overview of your organisation and current work
- Proposed project to be funded, including sport/movement types used
- Locations of delivery
- Anticipated participant demographics
- How funding will encourage the inclusion of under-represented groups of young people aged 12-24 in movement and/physical activity.
- How funding will be used to promote confidence and opportunity to move amongst young people aged 12-24
- Plans to incorporate the Breaking Limits training series and engage coaches, teachers, volunteers and/or young leaders with modules and other training content
- Value that your organisation can bring to the amplification and promotion of the Breaking Limits Programme
Currently, applications are only open to non-profit organisations who have been invited to complete a submission.
