NFL Foundation Global Partnership Grant
Opens 8 Jun 2026 08:00 (GMT)
Deadline 4 Jul 2026 08:00 (GMT)
Description

The NFL Foundation and Beyond Sport are inviting you to complete this application form for a grant partnership, starting in August 2026 and running through July 2027. We encourage you to apply for the relevant funding amount to cover your proposed project delivery for 12 months, up to the amounts listed below, depending on the size and location of your organization.

  • Greater Toronto Area: $40,000 (CAD)
  • Mexico City: $500,000 (MXN)
  • Newcastle: £30,000 (GBP)
  • Paris: €26,000 (EUR)

This grant will support you to build on your existing sport programming and begin to use flag football (non-contact 5v5 American Football) as a tool to further engage young people. The support from this program will allow chosen organizations to harness the uniqueness of the sport to bring people together in a positive and supportive environment, strengthen their communities and improve the physical and mental health of young people facing inequality.

Funded projects must combine flag football with wraparound support to deepen the impact of the initiative. This support should be tailored to the needs of your community, but may include mentoring programs, counseling, educational workshops or support to develop employability skills, as examples.

In addition to the funding, the NFL Foundation and Beyond Sport will work with you to understand any additional training and equipment needs you may have to support the delivery of flag football as part of this program.

This grant is currently only open to registered non-profits, or equivalent, in the Greater Toronto Area, Mexico City, Newcastle (UK) and Paris.
